Lot 252 American Colonial Revival Dollhouse, Circa 1930-1940 A two story American-made dollhouse in the Colonial Revival style and the white and green colors so popular in the USA during the 1930s and 1940s. The dollhouse has six rooms in the main house and a seventh room, the kitchen, is placed in an adjacent wing. Two separate panels cover the front of the main house and the kitchen wing and, once removed, give full and easy access to the interior of the dollhouse. Architectural details include the dormer window centered in the main roof, dual chimneys and window boxes (I had these added to the dollhouse). The interior is painted (dark floors and pastel walls) and electrified. The original owner cleverly used metal soda bottle caps to fashion ceiling medallions for the light bulbs. This attractive and sturdily built dollhouse has a few nicks and scratches as befits its age and will provide enjoyment for many years to come. The dollhouse is 33 ½” high, 45 ½” wide and 16 ½” deep. CONDITION: Very good
